Access to Britain’s Bayeux Tapestry this autumn

With tickets sold out this autumn for the British Museum’s Bayeux Tapestry exhibition, you can still get your tapestry experience this autumn at Reading Museum with guided tours, free visits and a special events programme of Britain’s Bayeux Tapestry.
The only full-scale replica of the Norman tapestry was created by Victorian women 140 years ago and has resided in Reading for over a century. Like the original, Britain's Bayeux Tapestry is 70-metre long and is almost identical in every regard.
Guided tours or self-guided visits
There are 3 guided tours of Britain’s Bayeux Tapestry every week (£10) - tickets from October, booking up to Christmas (Tues/Thurs/Sat) and free entry to see the tapestry at other times on self-guided visits.
