Reading Guild of Artists Brings Monthly Exhibitions to Honesty Café
24th April 2026
The Reading Guild of Artists is delighted to announce a new partnership with Honesty Café in Reading’s Thames Quarter.
Each month, a different RGA artist will present a small exhibition of work, starting in April with Mark Burden’s ‘Sunflower|Traces’ exhibition, a collection of vibrant and superbly presented prints.
The initiative got underway at a busy launch event at Honesty Café on 16th April. Honesty is a food business with 13 venues including cafes in Wokingham and Reading’s Thames Quarter, next to the railway station. Honesty Founder Romilla Arber explains their wish to encourage people to spend time socialising and discovering things that matter to them – a sentiment echoed by the RGA who are keen to take art beyond the gallery and into everyday spaces. It follows on from other initiatives with Royal Berks Hospital and Reading Museum as well as RGA’s collaboration with the University in staging our annual exhibition and workshops at the University’s London Road campus.
You can find Honesty Café at 2 Napier Road in Reading (RG1 8FT), part of the new Thames Quarter and only a couple of minutes’ walk from the railway station.
