The reopening marks an exciting return for burger fans in Reading, combining familiar favourites with standout seasonal highlights in one of the town’s most sought-after riverside spots.
Gordon Ramsay Street Burger Reading is set to reopen on Wednesday 20th May, bringing back its much-loved menu of signature burgers and crowd-pleasing classics. Located by the riverside at The Oracle Shopping Centre in the heart of Reading, the restaurant first opened in October 2021 as the brand’s second Street Burger site outside London. To celebrate the grand opening, Street Burger Reading will give away 500 free burgers to the first 500 guests through the door - available exclusively on opening day.
Fan favourites returning to the menu include the Next Level Burger, Idiot Burger, G.F.C. Burger and the O.G.R Burger, alongside a line-up of sticky ribs, fiery spicy wings, vegan bites and incredible sides, plus sharing plates and starters made for grazing with friends. Guests can also enjoy a great-value £11 burger, with the option to add fries for £4, making it even easier to dive into the brand’s signature flavours.
New to Reading for a limited time are two standout additions set to make waves. The Prawn & Crab Roll makes its debut in town, served in a brioche hot dog bun filled with Marie Rose prawns, dressed crab, tobiko, lettuce and celery cress, alongside fries. Joining it is the limited-edition Gordon’s Wellington Burger, available only until summer. There is almost nothing more synonymous with Gordon Ramsay than the iconic Beef Wellington, and now that legendary dish has been reimagined in bold burger form. The indulgent creation features a smashed double beef patty layered with mushroom duxelle, crispy prosciutto, pickled red onion and rich gravy mayo, delivering all the flavours of the classic in a rich, satisfying bite.
With its prime riverside location and outdoor dining, guests can make the most of relaxed summer moments by the water. Whether stopping in for a casual bite, settling in for an evening with friends or picking up takeaway on the go, the space is designed to suit every occasion.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant transforms into a vibrant late-night destination. From world-class Picante Margaritas and refreshing summer spritzes to a curated wine and beer list, it offers the perfect setting to start the weekend in style.
