Reading Job Fest returns this September with 40+ employers
17th August 2026
Looking for your next job or ready to take the next step in your career?
Reading Job Fest is returning to Reading Town Hall on Thursday 10 September, bringing together more than 40 local employers and a wide range of jobs and skills opportunities.

Organised by Reading’s Economy and Destination Agency (REDA), in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, this free drop-in event is for anyone looking for a full or part-time permanent job in Reading and the surrounding area.
Taking place from 10am to 1pm, the event offers a chance to meet employers face-to-face, from sectors spanning defence, social care, retail, hospitality, construction, transport, education and more.
The event is free and open to anyone looking for a full or part-time permanent job in and around Reading. No appointment is required, so you can simply drop in during the event.
If you receive Universal Credit or Jobseekers Allowance and travel costs are a barrier to attending, Jobcentre Plus may be able to provide support. Speak to your Work Coach, who can check whether you are eligible.
Whether you’re actively looking for work, considering a change or want to find out what opportunities are available locally, Reading Job Fest is a chance to make connections directly with employers.
