Reading Business Network to Relaunch as REDA Business Network
21st July 2025
We’re pleased to announce the relaunch of the Reading Business Network as the REDA Business Network, signalling an ambitious new chapter in local business collaboration, driven by Reading’s Economy & Destination Agency (REDA).
Originally formed during the COVID-19 lockdowns to support local economic recovery, the network has evolved into a key platform for connecting businesses across the greater Reading and Thames Valley area. Special thanks to Phil Johnson of Archway Business Solutions, whose dedication, along with the support of a committed group of local entrepreneurs, has been instrumental in building and sustaining the network to this point.
With REDA now taking the lead, the relaunch signals the next phase and a focus on regional growth, local procurement, skills and policy engagement.
Nigel Horton-Baker, Executive Director of REDA, stated: “We’re not just changing the name – we’re moving the whole network forward. Whether you’re a young entrepreneur or a seasoned business leader, the REDA Business Network will be your platform to connect, collaborate and grow.”
The free-to-join network remains open to all business sizes and sectors, with a continued focus on inclusivity and neighbourhood economic development.
