We are a small but mighty team, made up of 9 passionate people who are all focused on shaping a better Reading for the future. Our home is Reading Business Centre where we all meet every week, but outside of that the team can be found supporting businesses in the town centre, running events and out and about meeting partners.
As a small team, we use our collaborative approach to be a catalyst for positive change in Reading, and our established partnerships with the local authority and like-minded, proactive organisations help us to get there quicker.

Executive Director | Nigel Horton-Baker
As Executive Director, Nigel leads the team and sets the strategic direction for REDA. With an extensive career in Economic Development, Nigel works alongside our Chairman to support and advise our Board of Directors.

Alex is responsible  for REDA’s communications, media relations and tourism strategy, supporting a wide range of stakeholders to drive footfall into the town centre.

Alexa manages Reading’s two Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), co-ordinating the liaison with our numerous town centre businesses to deliver the 2019-24 BID plans.

Kureen works within Reading BID, managing bookings for large-scale events in Reading Town Centre, as well overseeing Reading's Public Realm spaces.

Emma works closely with the wider team to produce engaging promotional content, assisting in the management of REDA’s social media channels and the upkeep of the Visit-Reading.com website to celebrate Reading.
