Kureen Mapp

Kureen is the Events and Commercialisation Coordinator for Reading Business Improvement District (BID). In this role, she oversees the planning and booking of large-scale events, building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive revenue and elevate the visibility of market traders and brands within Reading Town Centre.

Kureen also manages the use of Reading’s public spaces for events, ensuring they are well-organised and professionally delivered. This includes coordinating the popular twice-weekly street food markets held in Market Place every Wednesday and Friday. She works in close collaboration with Reading Borough Council to ensure full compliance with licensing requirements and local regulations.

What I love most about Reading is its inclusivity and vibrant atmosphere. The town is home to leading retail stores, incredible restaurants, and fantastic spots for cocktails. Reading is extremely well connected with excellent public transport options from buses to fast trains. We're just 25 minutes from London Paddington!
