REDA is delighted to launch our new Meet Reading showcase film in partnership with Conference News and many of Reading’s main meetings and conference venues.
The video is part of REDA’s work to promote Reading as an attractive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibitions) destination to event organisers looking for a great value meeting location that boasts the UK’s best travel connections.
The Meet Reading film showcases 12 of Reading’s major venues, including hotels and conference centres, as well as Reading’s connectivity, impressive 2500 hotel bedrooms, delegate social programme, Thames location and business infrastructure. It includes interviews with meetings industry professionals working in Reading to explain Reading’s unique offering to event organisers.
In partnership with Conference News, the UK's number one source for news and thought leadership on the meetings, events and conferences sectors, the film will provide event organisers with an inspirational snapshot of the Reading events venue market.
“Find out more about Reading’s evolving events offering, the venues shaping its business events landscape, and the experiences available for delegates both in and outside the conference hall.” (Conference News)
Alex Brannen, REDA’s lead on business and leisure tourism, said: “Reading has a really strong offer to the MICE market for events up to 700 delegates. This film will be one of the tools we use to raise awareness of what our fantastic venues and destination have to offer. For London-based event organisers in particular, our proximity to the Capital and great value delegate rates makes Reading a really attractive alternative.”
The Meet Reading venues featured in the new film are Hilton Reading, De Vere Wokefield Estate, Holiday Inn Reading South, Malmaison Reading, Novotel Reading Centre Penta Hotel Reading, Reading Town Hall, Green Park Conference Centre, The Roseate Reading, Venue Reading (University of Reading), Thames River Cruise and Village Hotel Reading.
The film will be distributed by Conference News to their subscribers and available to view through MeetReading.co.uk.
