About

We are based at the heart of the Upper Thames and cruise through some of the most stunning reaches of the Thames from Henley and Soniing up to Going and Streatley.

Established in 1973 our family business has grown from simple roots when we had one small open launch ferrying people between Caversham in Reading and Mapledurham. These days we have a diverse fleet of river boats that offer a scheduled tripping service, private charter and cruises designed for group, tour and coach operators.

The view from our boats changes everyday as the river ebbs and flows, seasons change, and people glide by. We have Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire on our doorstep with amazing open countryside, picture postcard villages and no shortage of photo opportunities, it is hard not to fall in love with what we do.

Our boats are the key to the operation, from our very own Little Ship of Dunkirk all the way to our multi deck party and restaurant boats, they are our pride and joy.

Further details on private charter, group travel and our scheduled river cruises are available on our website www.thamesrivercruise.co.uk
