T&Cs - Reading Dino Trail Competition

How to enter 

• Download a trail map or pick one up from one of our trail map locations, including: The Oracle Lower and Upper Levels, Broad Street Mall Customer Service Desk, Reading Station Tourist Information Stand, Reading Museum and Reading Central Library. 
• Follow the trail around Reading town centre and discover the incredible brick-built dinosaurs. 
• Find all 9 hidden letters located beside selected dinosaur displays (marked on the map) 
• Use the letters to solve the mystery phrase on your trail map. 
• Complete the competition entry form below and submit your answer before midnight on 23 August 2026. 

Prize draw 

One lucky winner will receive an exciting family prize bundle featuring experiences, vouchers, games and dinosaur-themed goodies generously donated by Reading businesses and trail partners. 

The winner will be contacted via the email address provided on the entry form within one week of the competition closing. 

All prizes must be collected in person from the Broad Street Mall Management Office. Individual vouchers and experiences may be subject to their own validity dates and terms of use, which will be provided with the prize.

When entering, you'll have the option to sign up to the Visit Reading newsletter and receive marketing communications from selected trail partners. You can unsubscribe at any time. 

Terms & Conditions 

• By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided may be held and used by Reading Business Improvement District (Reading BID), its agents and suppliers for the purpose of administering the competition. 
• Reading BID will manage the competition and prize draw. Personal data will only be retained for as long as necessary to administer the competition and contact the winner. 
• Only one entry per person is permitted. 
• The competition opens on 25 July 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 23 August 2026. 
• Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the prize draw. 
• The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. 
• The winner will be notified by email within one week of the competition closing. 
• If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 48 hours of notification, Reading BID reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 
• Reading BID reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. 
• Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
