It's 30 years since Wenda sold her home, put everything she owned into storage, bought 56 acres of land for a sanctuary and took up residence in a fifty year old mobile home. She shared the tiny space with 16 cats and a dog. The rescued farm animals and birds kept coming and today, she and her partner care for just under 400 residents, as well as all the wildlife they repair and return to live free. Life is full of happiness and tears but she wouldn't change a thing. Get a glimpse of what it's really like to run an animal sanctuary!
The brilliant vegan comedian Matt Hoss will be entertaining us with a family friendly set.
“Warm and endearingly funny” NARC magazine
“Funny Brave and Intelligent” ★★★★ Lancashire Post
“Really funny” ★★★★ Broadway Baby
“One of the funniest, most enjoyable comedy shows we’ve been to” – Monsoon Eric Barker Prize
French vegan pastry chef and entrepreneur Céline is on a mission to prove that vegan desserts can be luxurious, sustainable and uncompromising in quality. Join her as she shares her vision for the future of pâtisserie. Followed by Q&A.
