Located in the grounds of the historic Mapledurham House, a privately owned country estate which has been in the same family since 1492. There has been a watermill at Mapledurham for over 1000 years. It is only open for private pre-booked guided tours run by The Miller and his Wife and also includes St Margarets Church, the impressive Archimedes Hydro Turbine the Watermill and Gift Shop, followed by a traditional English cream tea at The Coach House Tearoom.
