We encourage inward investment by promoting Reading as a great place to do business and attracting both companies and developments to invest in the town. We help establish a thriving business environment for our local network to create profit and grow the area for mutual benefit. We actively encourage other national and overseas organisations to be a part of what we are building.
Our inward investment work includes:
- We own the Vision for Reading in 2050 as a ‘green tech’ city, a city of ‘culture and diversity’ and a city of ‘rivers and parks’ in partnership with Reading University and endorsed by the local authority
- We are guardians of the Reading place brand, promoting Reading as a great place to live, work and do business
- We help establish a thriving business environment through networking events and business support services
- We own and manage Visit-Reading.com, a destination focused website to showcase the best of Reading for investors and developers
