Drink Spiking Testing Kits

What is it?
An easy to use testing kit to identify whether a person’s drink has been spiked. To aid management and staff within our late night venues when dealing with a person who is concerned their drink has been spiked.  Packs of spiking kits were distributed to all our pubs, clubs and late night venues, including our First Stop service based in St Mary’s Minster.

What is the benefit? 
Spiking tests can be used instantly a suspected incident has taken place.  The tests are designed to work within any liquid substance and the results are instant.  This test is used when a venue is approached by a person concerned they have been spiked, the instant results can allay their fears allowing them to continue enjoying their night, or should the result be positive an investigation can begin immediately as time is of the essence when dealing with these kinds of crimes.
