As warmer seasons creep upon us, we can all look forward to what's on in Reading this Summer. Browse our highlights below for inspiration:
Reading Football Club’s Collected Exhibition runs until August at Sir John Madejski's Art Gallery, Reading Museum. The exhibition marks 150 years of the club and is a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of unique pictures, objects, and fans’ and players’ memorabilia, telling the amazing story of Reading Football Club collected since 1871.
Local independent street food venture, Blue Collar Corner, has a brand new outdoor venue. Perfect for sunny days! Open Thurs-Sun.
Reading’s very own street food festival, Eat Reading, returns at the earlier date of 7-8 May. Taking place in Broad Street, there’ll be food, drink and music all weekend.
Biscuit Town 2022 runs from May to September, with biscuit activities taking place across Reading to celebrate the bicentenary of Huntley and Palmers.
7 May sees the Are You Listening music festival return to Reading’s town centre venues.
On 8-10 July Readipop Festival will run in Caversham for the weekend, with international music legends such as The Sugar Hill Gang .
We’ll welcome France to the Forbury Gardens for Bastille Day on 9-10 July.
The iconic Reading Festival comes to the town on 26-28 August for the bank holiday weekend.
