Virgin Media relocated its head office to Green Park in 2019, bringing around 1,500 people to a state-of-the-art headquarters. The new space supports all major functions, including Finance, Legal, IT and Engineering, with flexibility built in for creative and collaborative working. “This new site provides our people with a next-generation work environment to inspire creativity and help Virgin Media to keep growing,” said Bill Castell, Acting Chief Financial Officer.

Bayer, the global pharmaceutical giant, moved its UK and Ireland HQ to Green Park in 2016. The £13m purpose-built headquarters houses around 500 staff and was designed to improve innovation, attract top talent and support wellbeing. Since relocating, Bayer saw a 250% increase in job applications and 99% of staff made the move with them — a clear sign of the site’s strong commuter appeal. “Our decision to move to Reading’s Green Park was based on the company’s future needs, access to travel infrastructure, and the proximity to other leading international companies,” the company noted.
